Park Area "Bezbog"
The beautiful park area "Bezbog" is among the regions of the National Park "Pirin". In 1994, the "Ulen" Reserve was established within the territory of “Bezbog”. The Polezhan peak and the cirque of Polezhanski lakes are located there, as well as: Strazhishki, Vasilashki, Dislishki, Tipitzki Lakes, Popovoto lake- with the largest area in the Pirin Mountains; Bezbozhkoto lake, the cirque Samodivski lakes, Ribnite ponds, Kremenski and Kamenishki lakes. On the territory of the "Ulen" Reserve there are ancient pine forests, fir, dwarf pine, white fir, spruce forests and other sole representatives of centuries-old species such as black fir.
Park Region "Bezbog" takes pride in its diversity of over 700 vascular plant species, 44 included in the Red Book of Bulgaria. The park area’s office is in the city of Dobrinishte that has recently become a preferred skiing and year-round tourism destination. SPA tourism is very popular as well, because of the healing powers of Dobrinishte’s mineral springs.
Several well-known tourist routes cut through the "Bezbog" region and the chair-lift connects Dobrinishte to the "Bezbog" Hut.
