This is Bulgaria’s second largest and richest museum of natural history. It has a modern and contemporarily shaped exhibition backed by a strong conservation concept. The first floor holds the following halls: Geology, Botany, Invertebrate Animals, Amphibians and Reptiles, Birds and Mammals while the ground floor holds the Fish, Aquarium and Sea Bottom halls.

 

The museum shows a 100-sq-m sweet water aquarium where over 32 species of decorative fish and exotic plants live.
