Stoyan Bachvarov Dramatic Theatre was founded in 1921. 11 years later it received its specially designed building which is one of the most beautiful theatre buildings in Bulgaria. It has been one of Varna’s cultural symbols to this day.

 

Today, the theatre bears the name of actor Stoyan Bachvarov who founded the theatre troupe.
