Degas Gallery opened its doors for visual art lovers in 2007. The gallery’s art space is dedicated to works by artists with a proven individual style and clearly expressed mastery. Regardless of the generation they belong to or the differences in styles, schools, technique and ideas, the authors in the gallery are united by their high sense of professionalism and the creative power of expression related to it.

 

The gallery displays works from the field of graphics, small sculpture and applied art while a specially devised space presents a collection of authentic icons by Bulgarian icon painters. A special place is given to Modern Bulgarian paintings which nicely intertwine with what’s traditional and classic.

 

The gallery maintains its ambition to familiarise and inspire the visitor with the high value of various forms of Bulgarian art and to satisfy the collector’s interest of the specialised audience.
