The Dobrich theatre was established in 1928. Many renowned Bulgarian actors have left their hearts on the stage of Dobrudzha through the years. Today, the Dobrich theatre is named after Yovkov – the man who immortalized hope, the singer of Dobrudzha. No matter how many years go by or what is happening, the melody of the undying ‘song of the wheels’ keeps playing in our souls. We can’t turn back the time but we can try look forward into the future, believing that this beautiful melody will keep enchanting newer and newer generations and making them tremble, taken over by the magic of the stage. Each time the curtains are drawn up.
