The fountain in front of the Presidential Office was designed and built in the 1950s.

The square was named after the prominent banker and politician Atanas Burov. The fountain was fully refurbished in 2014 and now attracts visitors with eye-catching lights and renovated structure. The water jets reach a height of a few meters, while at night the spectacular lights transform the fountain into an extraordinarily magical experience. The water ensemble is beautifully adorned with depictions of water flowers, fans, water torches, geysers, etc. The Fountain gradually becomes a popular meeting place where talented artist perform in public.
