The DANUrB Platform has been reactivated and is ready to enrich its content with good new practices of cultural and historical heritage in the Danube regions. This became evident at the 3rd partner meeting, which took place on February 26, 2021. It gathered online more than 60 participants from 19 partners’ organizations and 6 Danube countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia).

На 1 март започва един от най-обичаните празници от млади и стари в България – Баба Марта (а и не само – сърби, македонци, гърци и румънци също го празнуват). На тази дата символиката разкрива новото начало, идващата пролет, прераждащата се природа, стартиращата обработка на земята. Всеки се накичва с мартеници, подарени му от близки, роднини, колеги и приятели. Усмивките са за децата, които се радват на пъстрите цветове, форми и модели, с които са декорирани дрехите и китките им, но и за възрастните, които се надяват на здраве, щастие и по-добро бъдеще.

This week marks 148 years since the death of Vasil Levski. Vasil Ivanov Kunchev was born on July 18, 1837, in the family of Ivan Kunchev Ivanov and Gina Vasileva Karaivanova and was hanged on February 19, 1873, when he was only 35 years old. He remains to this day a symbol of determination, courage, and sacrifice in the name of the people. He is an example of combativeness and remains one of the most important figures in the revolutionary activity and the fight for the liberation of Bulgaria. In addition to creating a network of revolutionary committees throughout the country, he leaves us the words known as his testament:
"Holy and Pure Republic."

Бизнес конференцията „Транснационално предприемачество в действие“ ще се проведе онлайн в петък, 31 юли 2020 г. Събитието ще срещне предприемачи, преподаватели, представители на местната власт, ученици и студенти от сферата на туризма и свързаните с него индустрии.

The DANUrB+ project funded by the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme was launched on 1st July 2020 to foster resilient use of cultural heritage and resources of the peripheral and border regions along the Danube. National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide" is is a key partner for Bulgaria and is leading the Communication Package. NTC BG Guide will contribute with the organistaion of several international events, including a Danube Day Festival, and will create the common DANUrB brand and image. By establishing a common visual identity the project will reach to more stakeholders and will improve the already established network of partner organisations.

National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide" has launched a project to increase the value of unexplored cultural and historical routes and resources for tourism in the cross-border region Bulgaria-Serbia.
