The Rozhen Monastery "Nativity of the Holy Virgin Mary" is among the biggest medieval monasteries in Bulgaria. It is located in a picturesque nature and nearby the famous Sand Pyramids of Melnik.
A chain of hills - "Bakadzhitsite" - connects the eastern outskirts of Sredna Gora Mountain with the northern ridges of Strandzha Mountain and separates Gornotrakijska Valley from the Valley of Burgas.
