
TRANS-EDU-NET second partners' meeting in Vlora, Albania
The second partners’ meeting in the context of the TRANS-EDU-NET project – “Transnational Educational Network for young people - new technologies and entrepreneurial thinking in the tourism industry", funded under the TCP “INTERREG Balkan-Mediterranean 2014-2020”, will take place in Vlora, Albania on 27th April 2018.
The TRANS-EDU-NET project was launched in August 2017 and the first events were organized by the Lead Partner National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide” in September 2017 in Sofia.
The second TRANS-EDU-NET partners’ meeting will be hosted by the AULEDA - Local Economic Development Agency of Vlora Region, Albania. The four partners— AULEDA, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, the Municipality of Kichevo in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide", Bulgaria - will gather together to report on the project progress and discuss the results of the analyses on entrepreneurship and tourism curricula in Albania, Bulgaria, Greece and FYRoM.
The mission of the TRANS-EDU-NET partners is to provide opportunities for vocational education and training for people aged 16 to 30 for the needs of the tourism industry on the Balkans. The project features innovative trainings and advanced learning tools, online activities, practical initiatives, a simulation business game and transnational educational camps. All these activities aim to promote entrepreneurial thinking among young people as well as support the sustainable development of tourism and create a more competitive business environment in the region.
