Regional Conference "Challenges and Opportunities of Living in Shrinking and Peripheral Cities along the Danube"
Organisers are the DANUrB+ partners from Romania - "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism, Association for Urban Transition, National Institute for Research and Development in Tourism, and from Bulgaria National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide", New Bulgarian University, Bluelink Foundation, with the special support of the Municipality of Ruse.
The event will provide an opportunity for representatives of local authorities, non-governmental organizations, higher education institutions, local entrepreneurs, professionals, and/or students willing to share ideas and knowledge about development opportunities, good practices, programs for development of cities along the Danube, plans and initiatives for valorization of the Danube cultural heritage, etc.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format (in person and online)
- on 10th March in Bucharest, Romania
- on 11th March 2022 in Ruse, Bulgaria.
