After 9 years of interruption, the traditional National Folk art and livestock Fest “Rozhen” will finally be held again. This is a must-attend event, especially for photographers. The last edition was in 2006, but its first dates back to 1898.

This year, from the 17th to the 19th of July, "Rozhen"  Folk and livestock production Festival will be revived with new and different substance and emphasis – the Folklore Fest "Rozhen", traditional crafts, ethnographic and museum exhibitions, animal exhibits - sheep , goats, dogs, cows and buffalos. Showcases of farm dairy and meat products, organic food and drinks; wrestling, culinary shows and barbecues; horse riding shows, folk festivities, fire walking and many more.

The festival’s expected to draw more than 250 000 people.
