This year’s International festival for architecture” One architecture week 2015” gives special emphasis to the Professional forum. The eighth edition of “One architecture week” will be attended by some of the most renowned faces of modern architecture. The event will be held on September 26 in the State Opera - Plovdiv (Plovdiv,  1 "Central " Sq.), and six of the most famous  architects, urban planners and landscape architects will visit our country particularly for it.

Every year ONE ARCHITECTURE WEEK focuses on a specific topic with a fresh curatorial team. Тhe 2015 topic is "Un-common river". ONE ARCHITECTURE WEEK aims to find answers to the question “What role does the urban river play in modern cities ”. International speakers will share their knowledge and expertise on topics related to design of river spaces, creation of active urban communities around them, etc.

The 2015 international  speakers are:

PETER VEENSTRA (LOLA Landscape), JANDIRK HOEKSTRA (H + N + S Landscape), RITA JUSTESEN (By & Havn), CLEMENT BLANCHET, JAN EDLER (Realities United) and MASON WHITE (Lateral Office).

The Professional forum is the only paid part of the festival program, that you can now buy tickets for at the Ticketlogic’s network, as well as at the offices of ONE every working day from 09:00 to 18:00 (in Plovdiv - 10 "Hristo Dyukmedjiev" Str.  and in Sofia -  2 "Yuri Venelin" Str. , 3rd floor ). The rest of the program is free and includes lectures, debates, exhibitions, concerts, children's program, workshops, interventions, sports program and others.
