National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide"
NTC BG Guide - Your Gateway to Authentic Bulgaria and the Living Danube
National Tourism Cluster “Bulgarian Guide” (NTC BG Guide) is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming Bulgaria and the Danube Region into exemplary models of sustainable, inclusive, and resilient destinations.
Headquartered in Sofia/Bulgaria, we unite a dynamic network of tourism SMEs, local communities, museums, universities, creative industries, and regional stakeholders - working together to protect and unlock the full potential of Bulgaria’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
Our mission is to drive sustainable regional transformation by co-creating innovative, community-led solutions that preserve cultural and natural heritage, foster green and digital transitions, and strengthen local capacities. We connect people with the unique stories, places, and traditions of our regions — while supporting skills development, education (including VET), and cross-sectoral collaboration that build resilient, inclusive, and future-ready communities.
What We Do
✅ Advance Green and Digital Transformation
We support communities, SMEs, and institutions in adopting climate-smart practices, circular economy models, and digital innovation to meet EU sustainability goals.
✅ Empower Local Capacity and Institutional Resilience
We strengthen local governance and institutional capacity through training, mentoring, and knowledge exchange — ensuring that communities are equipped to lead change and attract sustainable investments.
✅ Foster Skills Development and Lifelong Learning
We design and deliver tailored education and Vocational Education and Training (VET) programmes that build green, digital, and entrepreneurial skills for people of all ages — aligned with the EU Skills Agenda and the Pact for Skills.
✅ Champion the New European Bauhaus Vision
We co-create place-based solutions that blend sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetic value — inspiring regeneration of cultural and natural assets in line with the New European Bauhaus movement.
✅ Connect Regions Through Cross-Border and Cross-Sector Collaboration
We lead and participate in European partnerships that drive community-led innovation, social inclusion, and regional resilience across the Danube and wider EU.
✅ Preserve and Celebrate Living Heritage
We engage local communities and creative sectors to safeguard cultural and natural heritage — using storytelling, digital tools, and circular design to keep traditions alive for future generations.
✅ Support Innovation Ecosystems
We bring together diverse stakeholders — from universities and SMEs to cultural institutions and local authorities — to build collaborative networks that fuel smart, inclusive growth.
